Cornerstone is an Apostolic church that believes in the Biblical foundation laid by the Apostles and Prophets, Jesus Christ being the Chief Cornerstone.
Cornerstone believes that "you must be born again" of the "water and of the Spirit" if you want to be included in the Kingdom of God. In the book of Acts, the Apostle Peter preaches the first message to unbelievers that desire to be converted and in Acts 2:38, states that you must "Repent, and be Baptized, every one of you in the Name of Jesus Christ for the Remission of Sins and you shall receive the Gift of the Holy Ghost". This Pentecostal Experience so overwhelmed the early church and Jerusalem that the early Christians were accused of turning their world upside down. Cornerstone believes that this Supernatural and Transcendent experience is still available for "whosoever will".
The words of Jesus defined Pentecost as an experience that would cause each believer to become His witness. Cornerstone believes that this witness lifestyle brought about by the infilling of the Holy Spirit will cause every believer to live a Godly life as they work out their own salvation with fear and trembling.
Cornerstone follows the example demonstrated by the early church in the book of Acts by Leading in Evangelism, Learning in Discipleship, Launching into Ministry, Lifting up the Name of Jesus in Worship and Loving one another in Fellowship.
